A global leader in mobile device automation solutions, Pervacio has won a prestigious award from NTT DoCoMo for developing the best mobile device product for Japan.
The Device Assist Tool (DAT) Award was achieved through Pervacio’s 3PL partnerships with NTT DoCoMo, the main mobile phone operator in Japan, and Asurion, a leading provider of device insurance, warranty and support services for mobile phones, consumer electronics and home appliances.
Pervacio’s CEO Sanjay Kanodia says: “We’re delighted to win this prestigious award, which is testament to the hard work our product developers have put in to create a solution that saves money, improves efficiency and enhances the end user experience.
“The fact that our diagnostics tool facilitates communications between retailer and customer to operate in a much more efficient manner is a huge benefit to all parties.”
NTT DoCoMo has developed DAT as a platform to provide total service support for the devices it sells. Thanks to Pervacio’s Retail Suite (Diagnostics), the carrier did not have to replace tens of thousands of devices perceived as faulty by consumers with new equipment and so benefitted from important cost savings.
Now in use on more than 5,000 terminals, Pervacio’s product not only helps to boost efficiencies, but also enhances the end user experience. As a result, NTT DoCoMo has been able to make significant improvements to its customer satisfaction score (CSAT).
One of the main attractions of Pervacio’s diagnostics tool is that it enables the vast majority of perceived problems with mobile devices to be dealt with in-store. Retailers and end users – both of whom may have limited technical knowledge – are empowered to identify the issue quickly and resolve it without the device having to enter the reverse supply chain.
Pervacio’s Retail Suite (Diagnostics) also helps to deflect No Fault Found (NFF) volumes by operating as a powerful communications tool, educating customers on how to use mobile devices properly and so minimizing problems. What might start out as a negative feeling quickly turns into a positive experience for the end user.
